Daily Questions

In the book of Marshall Goldsmith titled “Triggers: Creating Behavior That Lasts”, there is a description about the “Daily Questions”.

Every day, by an active question to myself can be improved the action to achieve the goal.

Some of the six questions that are written in this book is as following:

  1. Did I Do My Best to Set Clear Goals Today?
  2. Did I Do My Best to Make Progress Toward My Goals Today?

Here, the important is the form of the question, “Did I Do My Best to …”. To achieve the goal, you must have perseverance, self-discipline and self-management. It is not easy to achieve the goal. To act to continue, you need to continue to improve your behavior. In adition, there are descriptions as follows:

  • Change doesn’t happen overnight.
  • Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.
  • If we make the effort, we will get better. If we don’t, we won’t.

Naturally, there is a need to continue to strive towards the goal. Of course, the situation you can’t have the motivation will be occured. “Daily Questions” is forced to face up them, to accept them, and to write out.
